What changed in Stackdiff itself, newest first. A product about changelogs should keep its own.
Every tool in the catalog now has a public page at /tools/<id> with its recent releases, breaking changes, CVEs and end-of-life dates, plus an index at /tools. The landing page moved to the root URL. Fonts are served from stackdiff.dev instead of Google, so the browser talks to no third party at all. Page views are counted as daily totals on the server: no cookie, no IP, no script.
The email allowlist is off. Anyone can sign in with Google or an email link.
The brief is a single sortable table of changes, worst first, instead of day-grouped cards. The right rail and the summary paragraph are gone from the page; the paragraph stays in email and Slack.
A delivery that fails is no longer stamped as sent, so weekly, daily and instant sends retry on the next tick. A wrong Claude key or model now pauses summarizing with an error in the log instead of writing keyword summaries for everything.
New accounts start with no vendors and a three-step checklist: add tools, set delivery, send a first brief. The stack page gained a sticky save bar, a selection count and an unsaved marker.
Delivery settings take a time zone by country or city name, validated on the server, with tzdata bundled so it works in the container.
Briefs and sign-in links can go out through SES using the instance role, with no secret to rotate. The operator CLI can print a brief for one vendor.

The catalog grew to 186 tools, adding configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Salt), more cluster add-ons, observability (VictoriaMetrics), CLIs (k9s, AWS CLI, gcloud, Azure CLI), Flux, Karpenter and FalkorDB.
Instrument Serif and Geist, an asymmetric grid, and the last seven days of a representative stack shown live on the landing page. Privacy page added. Custom domain stackdiff.dev with a canonical host redirect.
