Privacy
Stackdiff stores the minimum it needs to send you a brief. This page says what that is.
What we store
- Your email address, and your GitHub id and username if you sign in with GitHub.
- The vendors you picked and your delivery settings: schedule, time zone, alert threshold.
- A Slack webhook URL if you add one. It is encrypted at rest.
- A log of briefs and alerts we sent you: when, which channel, how many items, whether it worked.
What we don't do
- No analytics scripts, no ad pixels, no third-party trackers. The only external requests the site makes are for fonts.
- We don't sell or share your data. Email is sent through Resend; GitHub sign-in uses GitHub's OAuth. Nothing else sees your address.
- We don't store vendor content. Each change is kept as a short excerpt and a two-sentence summary that links to the vendor's own page.
